If you must have hustle bustle noise and commotion, you are about 45 minutes from 5th Ave in Playa and 20 minutes from the beaches of Tulum. For my needs---family friendly, and laid back world traveler cosmopolitan vibe and 24-hour security. Good breakfast buffet included and reasonably priced.
